Timing a HydraFacial Before an Event

A HydraFacial has no downtime, so it can be booked close to an event: most patients go straight back to their day or an evening out, with skin that looks clearer and brighter the same day.

Why a HydraFacial suits event prep

A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts congestion and infuses hydrating serums in one 50-minute session. Because nothing is injected or resurfaced, there is no recovery period to plan around.

How close to the event?

Skin may look slightly flushed for about an hour afterwards. For that reason, many patients book the day before or the morning of an event. If you are having extractions for the first time, or your skin is sensitive, a few days ahead gives you extra margin. Tell us the date when you book and we will suggest the best slot.

Building up to a bigger occasion

For a wedding or a milestone event, skin tends to look its best with a routine rather than a single visit. We recommend a HydraFacial every four to six weeks, so a series leading up to the date, with the final session shortly before, is a simple plan.

Sensitive skin

Serums and extraction intensity are adjusted to your skin at the start of each session, and we can switch to a gentler protocol when needed. Mention any recent reactions or treatments at check-in.

Pairing with other treatments

Many patients pair a facial with an injectable or laser plan. Because other treatments can have their own settling time, ask your provider how to order them before an event.
