Non-Surgical Body Contouring in Brickell, Miami — Provider-Planned, Combination-Based
Body contouring at No Filter Medical Spa is planned, not picked off a menu. A licensed provider, working under medical director oversight, assesses skin laxity, tissue quality and the specific areas you want to refine, then builds a plan that may combine radiofrequency, light-based and collagen-stimulating treatments. Every plan starts with a consultation, and every result is individual.

Overview
What body contouring is
Non-surgical body contouring is a category of in-office treatments designed to refine the shape, firmness and surface texture of areas such as the abdomen, flanks, arms, thighs, knees and buttocks without incisions or general anesthesia. It is not a weight-loss treatment and it does not replace surgery for significant excess skin. Where it fits is the middle ground: stable weight, specific areas that resist diet and exercise, and skin that has started to lose its snap.
At No Filter, the category includes five technologies, each of which works on a different layer or problem:
| Technology | Primary job | Invasiveness | Typical commitment |
|---|---|---|---|
| SyneraLift | Non-invasive RF + vacuum + microvibration protocol for firmness, circulation and surface texture | Non-invasive, no numbing | Series of sessions, no downtime |
| Pulsar+ | Multi-wavelength light-based body contouring designed to support circumference reduction | Non-invasive, no numbing | Series of short sessions, no downtime |
| Morpheus8 Body | Fractional RF microneedling for laxity and texture, with deep thermal reach | Minimally invasive (micro-pins), topical numbing | 2–4 sessions, 1–5 days social downtime |
| Quantum RF | Subdermal bipolar RF for moderate laxity, delivered beneath the skin under local anesthesia | Minimally invasive (tiny entry points) | Usually 1 session, little to no downtime |
| Sculptra (body) | Collagen-stimulating injections for skin quality and subtle contour | Injectable | 2–3 sessions, bruising possible |
The Technology
How it works
Body shape is governed by three layers: the skin, the fibrous support network beneath it, and the fat compartments that network holds in place. Each technology addresses one or more of these:
- Heat-based tightening (RF): Radiofrequency warms collagen-rich tissue to a controlled temperature. Existing collagen fibers contract, and the body responds over weeks by laying down new collagen. Surface RF (SyneraLift) does this gently from the outside across many sessions; Morpheus8 Body does it through micro-pins at set depths; Quantum RF does it from beneath the skin in one session.
- Light-based contouring (Pulsar+): Specific wavelengths of low-level laser light are directed at fat-bearing areas. Published work on 635 nm light proposes that it temporarily alters fat-cell membranes so stored lipids can be released and metabolized; this is the mechanism the category is built on, and it is paired with movement or lymphatic support to help the body process what is released.
- Collagen stimulation (Sculptra): Poly-L-lactic acid microparticles placed beneath the skin prompt a gradual collagen response. Nothing is "filled"; the skin thickens and firms over months.
Areas
Areas treated
Abdomen and flanks · upper arms · inner and outer thighs · above the knees · buttocks and the "banana roll" fold · back and bra line · décolleté (collagen stimulation only). Jawline and under-chin are handled on the Skin Tightening side.
Candidacy
Who it's for
- Adults at or near a stable weight who want to refine specific areas rather than lose weight overall
- Mild to moderate skin laxity after weight change, pregnancy or with age — including skin that has softened after GLP-1-assisted weight loss
- Crepey or uneven skin texture on the arms, abdomen, thighs or knees
- People who want a non-surgical path, or who want to maintain or build on prior surgical results
Not ideal for: significant excess skin (a surgical consult may serve you better), active pregnancy or breastfeeding, uncontrolled medical conditions, active infection or certain implanted devices in the treatment field. Your provider reviews this at consultation.
How to Choose
How to choose
- Is the main issue laxity, texture, or shape? — Laxity points toward RF (SyneraLift for mild, Morpheus8 Body for mild-to-moderate, Quantum RF for moderate). Texture and crepiness point toward Morpheus8 Body or Sculptra. Shape and circumference point toward Pulsar+ and SyneraLift's SCULPT and VELO modules.
- How much downtime fits your life? — SyneraLift and Pulsar+ have none. Morpheus8 Body is a few days of redness and tenderness. Quantum RF has little to no downtime, with local anesthesia and a same- or next-day return to normal routines.
- One session or a series? — Quantum RF is usually a single session. Everything else is a series, and series treatments are often layered — for example SyneraLift between Morpheus8 Body sessions, or Sculptra after RF to extend skin-quality gains.
- Skin tone and history — RF and PLLA are not color-dependent; your provider still evaluates history of keloids, pigmentation and healing before choosing depth and energy.
Step by Step
The process
- Consultation (45–60 minutes) — Medical history, goals, photographs, laxity and tissue assessment, candidacy review. You leave with a written plan and pricing.
- Plan and sequencing — Your provider decides which technologies, in what order and at what spacing. Plans are reviewed under medical director oversight.
- Preparation — Hydration, pausing certain supplements or medications where advised, and arriving without lotions on the treatment area.
- Treatment sessions — Non-invasive sessions run 30–75 minutes; Morpheus8 Body sessions 60–90 minutes including numbing; Quantum RF about 60–90 minutes with local anesthesia.
- Follow-up photography — at set intervals so progress is measured, not guessed.
- Maintenance planning — once your series is complete.
Your Visit
What to expect
Non-invasive treatments feel like warmth and deep massage. Morpheus8 Body feels like pressure and heat under topical numbing. Quantum RF is performed under local anesthesia. Gradual change is the rule: collagen-driven results typically become visible over 6–12 weeks and continue to refine for up to 6 months. Many patients see the most satisfying results from a combination plan rather than a single device.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Pricing: Pricing confirmed at consultation
No. It is designed to refine specific areas in people at or near a stable weight. Your provider will discuss weight goals separately if relevant.
You don't have to. The consultation exists to match the technology to your laxity, texture and downtime tolerance. Many plans combine two technologies.
It depends on the technology and area. Non-invasive series are typically 6–10 sessions; Morpheus8 Body is typically 2–4; Quantum RF is usually 1; Sculptra is typically 2–3. Your written plan will specify.
Early surface changes can appear within weeks; collagen-driven firmness typically appears over 6–12 weeks and continues to refine for up to 6 months. Individual results vary.
Non-invasive sessions are generally comfortable. Morpheus8 Body uses topical numbing. Quantum RF is performed under local anesthesia. Your provider discusses comfort options before you start.
Yes. Multi-area plans are common and are sequenced so recovery does not overlap.
RF, light-based and PLLA treatments are not dependent on skin pigment. Your provider still reviews your skin history and adjusts settings; candidacy is determined at consultation.
Licensed medical providers under the oversight of our medical director. Minimally invasive treatments are performed by providers credentialed for them.
Non-surgical treatments can often help refine and maintain post-surgical results once you are fully healed and cleared by your surgeon.
Pricing depends on technology, area and number of sessions and is confirmed in your written plan after consultation.
