Male Enhancement in Miami: Hyaluronic Acid Filler and PRP
Non-surgical male enhancement at No Filter Medical Spa uses two in-office options that can be done alone or together: hyaluronic acid dermal filler to add girth to the penile shaft, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) prepared from your own blood. Both are performed by licensed master injectors in a private room, after a consultation where we look at anatomy, goals and health history together. This is an aesthetic treatment with measured, temporary results; individual results vary.

Overview
What Male Enhancement is
Hyaluronic acid (HA) filler for girth. The same family of smooth, cross-linked HA gels used in facial aesthetics is placed beneath the skin of the penile shaft to add circumference. HA fillers are FDA-approved for facial indications; their use for penile enhancement is off-label, meaning the FDA has not evaluated or approved any injectable for this purpose. Filler is designed to add girth, not length. Any visual change in flaccid length that some patients report comes from added volume and is not a true lengthening.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma), "P-Shot" style. A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and their growth factors. The PRP is then injected into the shaft (and, at provider discretion, the glans). It is marketed in many clinics as the "P-Shot" or "Priapus Shot." PRP is autologous (your own tissue) and is not an FDA-approved treatment for erectile dysfunction or any sexual condition. Published studies are small and results are mixed; we frame PRP as something that may support blood flow, tissue quality and sensitivity for some patients, not as a treatment for a medical condition.
Combined. Many clinics offer PRP on the same day as filler or at a separate visit; some patients choose PRP alone. Your provider will recommend sequencing based on your goals.
Candidacy
Areas treated & who it's for
Good candidates typically:
- Are adult men in good general health who want a modest, natural-looking increase in girth without surgery.
- Have realistic expectations: published results from clinics and studies generally fall in the range of roughly 0.5 to 1 inch of added circumference over one or more sessions, not dramatic change.
- Can commit to the aftercare window, including abstaining from sexual activity for the period your provider sets.
- For PRP: are interested in a "may support" wellness treatment rather than a medical ED therapy, and have no significant blood or platelet disorders.
Not a fit (your provider will screen):
- Active genital infection, open skin, or recent STI without clearance.
- Bleeding disorders, anticoagulant therapy that cannot be paused, or a history of keloids or granulomatous reactions to fillers.
- Peyronie's disease, significant curvature, or untreated erectile dysfunction, which warrant urology evaluation first.
- Body dysmorphic concerns; if size concerns are causing distress out of proportion to anatomy, we will say so kindly and suggest support.
- Prior permanent fillers or silicone in the area.
Step by Step
The process
- Private consultation — Goals, measurements if you want them, medical history, medications and supplements (blood thinners, fish oil, NSAIDs are paused with your prescriber's approval). Baseline photos only with written consent.
- Plan and quote — Your provider estimates the filler volume (clinics commonly use several mL to 20+ mL across a plan, often split over two or more sessions to keep contours even) and whether PRP is added.
- Numbing — Topical anesthetic is applied and given time to work; a local anesthetic injection or dorsal nerve block is added for comfort.
- Filler placement — Using a blunt cannula through a small number of entry points (needle at provider discretion), HA is layered in the plane beneath the skin and above the deeper fascia, using fanning and threading passes so it spreads evenly around the shaft. The provider molds the filler by hand to smooth contours.
- PRP (if included) — A blood draw of roughly 10–30 mL is spun for several minutes; the concentrated PRP is injected at several points along the shaft, typically on both sides.
- Wrap and check — A light compressive dressing may be applied for the first night. You are observed briefly and leave with written aftercare.
- Follow-up — Typically at 2–4 weeks to assess settling and plan a second session if more volume is wanted. A penile pump may be recommended after PRP, if your provider uses that protocol.
Session time: roughly 30–60 minutes for filler; PRP adds about 20–30 minutes for the draw and spin. PRP alone is generally under 45 minutes.
Your Visit
What to expect
- During: pressure and a sense of fullness; brief stinging with the numbing injection. Most patients describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful.
- Immediately after: the shaft looks larger than its final result because of swelling and anesthetic. Expect mild swelling, possible bruising, and tenderness for a few days. Minor lumpiness is common early and typically settles with massage as directed.
- Days 3–14: swelling resolves; filler integrates. Some patients notice temporary changes in sensation that resolve.
- PRP: mild ache or sensitivity at injection points for 24–48 hours; occasional small bruises.
Recovery
Downtime & activity restrictions
- Return to desk work: same day or next day.
- Strenuous exercise, cycling, heavy lifting: avoid for 3–7 days after filler (some clinics advise up to 3 weeks); 24–48 hours after PRP.
- Pools, hot tubs, saunas, baths: avoid for 1–2 weeks after filler (several clinics advise 2 weeks); 48 hours after PRP.
- Sexual activity and masturbation after filler: published clinic guidance varies widely, from "a few days" at some New York practices to 1 week (Miami), 1–2 weeks (common US guidance), and 4 weeks or 30 days in a randomized trial and at a Dubai hospital. A longer pause reduces the chance of displacement and infection while filler integrates. Our window is set by your provider at consultation; plan for at least 1–2 weeks and follow the specific instruction you are given.
- Sexual activity after PRP alone: many clinics allow same-day or next-day activity; others advise 2–3 days of rest to protect injection sites. Plan for 24–72 hours unless told otherwise.
- After combined treatment: follow the filler window.
Aftercare
Aftercare
- Keep the area clean and dry; shower after 4–6 hours; no soaking for the period above.
- Wear supportive, clean underwear; keep the shaft oriented as instructed if a wrap was applied.
- Massage only as your provider shows you (usually gentle, starting on day 2–3) to keep filler even. Do not massage firmly or "push" lumps.
- Avoid pressure, pulling, pumps or constriction devices unless your provider specifically recommends a pump as part of a PRP protocol.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and NSAIDs for 48 hours unless advised (acetaminophen is usually acceptable).
- Sleep on your back for the first 1–2 nights if you can.
- Call us for severe or worsening pain, spreading redness or warmth, fever, discharge, skin color change, or numbness that persists.
- Keep your follow-up appointment; small refinements are part of a good result.
Results
Results timeline & longevity
- Filler: circumference increase is visible immediately and settles over 2–4 weeks. Clinic-reported gains are commonly about 0.25–0.5 inch per session, with cumulative gains of roughly 1 inch over a plan; a 24-week randomized trial reported a mean girth increase of about 2.3 cm with roughly 20 mL of HA. Published longevity ranges from 6–18 months (most common), with some clinics reporting up to 2 years and gradual loss beginning around 12–18 months. Touch-ups extend results. HA filler is reversible with hyaluronidase if needed.
- PRP: any change is gradual. Clinics typically describe improvements noticed at 3–6 weeks, building to about 3 months. Some patients report firmer erections or increased sensitivity; some report little change. Small studies show mixed results against placebo. Where benefit occurs it is described as lasting several months to around a year, and clinics often suggest 1–3 sessions.
- Individual results vary.
Safety
Risks & safety
- Filler: swelling, bruising, tenderness (common, short-lived); lumps, nodules or contour irregularity (uncommon, often treatable with massage or hyaluronidase); asymmetry; filler migration; infection, which can present weeks later; delayed inflammatory reaction or granuloma (rare with HA); very rarely vascular compromise. In the cited randomized trial, filler-related adverse events were about 6% and all mild. Choosing an experienced injector and following the abstinence window lowers risk.
- PRP: soreness, bruising, small hematoma, temporary sensitivity; rarely infection, nerve irritation or scarring at injection sites. The primary "risk" is that it may not produce a noticeable change.
- Off-label disclosure: HA fillers are approved for facial use; penile use is off-label. PRP is not FDA-approved for sexual function. Both are documented on your consent form.
- Who should not be treated: see candidacy. Anyone with symptoms of a medical condition will be referred.

No injectable is FDA-approved for penile enhancement. The hyaluronic acid fillers used are approved for facial indications and are used off-label here. We explain this at consultation and on your consent form.
No. Filler adds girth (circumference). Some patients perceive a change in flaccid appearance from added volume, but it is not lengthening.
Published clinic data commonly show roughly 0.25–0.5 inch per session and about 1 inch cumulatively over a plan. Results depend on anatomy, volume used and how your tissue settles. Individual results vary.
Topical and injected local anesthetic are used. Most patients describe pressure and fullness rather than pain, with soreness for a few days afterward.
Clinics publish windows from a few days to four weeks for filler. We will give you a specific window at consultation; plan for at least one to two weeks after filler and 24–72 hours after PRP alone.
HA fillers are soft gels that integrate with tissue. Early on, the area may feel firmer or slightly uneven; this typically softens over 2–4 weeks. Some patients report a change in sensation that resolves.
Most reports fall between 6 and 18 months, with gradual loss over time. Touch-ups can extend results.
The "P-Shot" is a branded name for PRP injected into the penis. It is not an FDA-approved ED treatment, and studies are small and mixed. We offer PRP as a wellness treatment that may support blood flow and sensitivity for some men. If you have ED symptoms, a urology evaluation comes first.
Often, yes. Some providers inject PRP at the same visit; others space them. Your provider will recommend the sequence.
HA filler can be partially or fully dissolved with hyaluronidase. Small irregularities often respond to massage. We schedule a follow-up to assess and refine.
